The 4th European Congress on Orthoptera Conservation (ECOC IV) will be in presence and combined with the 4th meeting of the Gruppo di Ricerca Insetti Ortotteroidei (GRIO). There will be a bioacoustic symposium dedicated to the late Gianni Pavan on Friday 5 July afternoon. There will be a final field excursion on Monte Zugna (1865 meters asl) on Sunday.

PROGRAM - upcoming
The program of the congress will be progressively updated on this page. The meeting will be live streamed on the YouTube channel of Fondazione Museo Civico di Rovereto. In the days before the congress, a specific link to the live stream will be mailed to all participants and to non-registered individuals who want to follow the congress from home. The presentations will be recorded and made available on the same YouTube channel. 

FEE
The participation fee is €100 (to be paid - link available soon) and comprehends: 
the two-day congress, 2 lunches (4 and 5 July) at the Risto3 self service diner, coffee break, gadget, booklet with abstracts, excursion to Monte Zugna (transport by bus from the museum to the astronomical observatory and pocket lunch), certificate of attendance.

TRAVEL 
For those arriving by plane at Verona Airport, the best way to travel to Rovereto is by bus (every 20 minutes, here) to Verona train station, then by train to Rovereto (approx 40 minutes). Those coming by car, Museo di Scienze e Archeologia has toll parking areas along the street and next to the building, here.

VENUE
The congress will be hosted by Fondazione Museo Civico di Rovereto at Museo di Scienze e Archeologia (Borgo S. Caterina 41, 38068 Rovereto TN, Italy). The meeting will be held in the Sala Convegni Fortunato Zeni. The museum is a 10 minutes walk from Rovereto Train Station. You have free access to the exhibitions of Museo di Scienze e Archeologia, showing your badge. 

ACCOMODATION
Among the hotels in Rovereto, a few steps away from the Museum you can find the Hotel Rovereto or Hotel Leon d’Oro. A budget option is the Rovereto Hostel.

SIGN UP
Those attending the meeting in person can sign up upon arrival at Museo Civico di Rovereto, each day of the congress. During sign up you’ll receive a name badge and welcome bag including the booklet with the program and abstracts.

BOOK TABLES
There will be some tables for selling books by WBA - World Biodiversity Association or sharing free publications and flyers. In case you intend to make use of this option it helps if you could let the organization know beforehand by sending a mail to buzzettifilippo@fondazionemcr.it
